ChatGPT Is Powerful & Scary For Copywriters
Is there still a need for human copywriters?
I’m a freelance copywriter.
If I don’t write things for people, I don’t get paid.
That makes ChatGPT an ominous thought.
Haven’t heard of it? ChatGPT is an OpenAi chatbot — except it's scarily talented.
Its a bot like no other
It researches. Writes decent copy. And is even creative.
Here’s a haiku it wrote for me on the topic of mindfulness:
Mindful breath flows,
Calmness in every step taken,
Peace within shines bright.
And here’s what it wrote when I asked it what mindfulness is:
Mindfulness is the practice of being present and fully engaged in the current moment, without judgment. It can involve paying attention to thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations, and it is often cultivated through meditation or other intentional focus techniques.
ChatGPT also wrote me a fictional story about Eygpt. I don’t think it’ll win a Pulitzer anytime soon, but here’s a sample:
