These days everyone wants to go viral. Unless it’s the pandemic kind of course. Yet so few of us manage to crack it.

After gaining 150,000 hits on my medium post Why I stopped meditating and replaced it with something much more powerful I wanted to share what actually worked for me without rehashing the advice we’ve all heard before like:

  • Post consistently
  • Time it right
  • Optimise your headlines
  • Add an eye-catching image

Here’s the secret, everyone is attempting to do those things and more. Fortunately, there are much better ways to increase your chances of being seen.

Do the opposite of what everyone else is doing.

No one wants to hear the same advice again and again. In my viral post, I’m offering something different. And going against the grain is always an advantage.

In a sea of mindfulness, meditation gurus, breathwork and lotus positions, I wrote about not meditating, how it didn’t work for me, and how it increased my anxiety.

I’d never read about an experience like mine, which is exactly what led me to share it.

Your difference is your superpower. Don’t try to fit in. Share what’s different and you…
