I felt better & reduced anxiety when I quit doing this
Most of us don’t even know we’re doing it.
It’s a problematic human trait.
And when you look around you notice almost everyone does it.
It’s the reason for most anxiety, dissatisfaction, and frustration.
Instead of living life as if it were unfolding, we are constantly trying to control everything in our world.
Now, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Planning is great. Manifesting is helpful. Applying positive thinking is useful too. And being prepared is very beneficial.
But there’s another important aspect of life
The let go
It’s the acceptance of what is. The letting go of needing to control the details.
The ability to flow with life not against it is often missing.
The paradox is that when we let go, we gain more power. We gain a sense of calm, inner peace, and inner knowing that we can apply to the world.
The Tao Te Ching explains this concept well.
One who seeks knowledge learns something new every day.
One who seeks the Tao unlearns something new every day.
