I love my apartment.
It’s minimalist themed.
There are few possessions, but they all match.
Everything is beige and creme.
There are beautiful plants everywhere.
The light shines in all morning.
It’s easy to keep clean.
It’s calming.
It’s simple. And it works wonderfully as a relaxing place.
Your mind is like an apartment
If only creating a calm mental space was just as simple.
The funny thing is, it can be with a little practice.
I’ve started to think of my mind as if it were an apartment.
In my apartment, I wouldn’t keep rotten food.
I wouldn’t leave piles of clothes everywhere.
I wouldn’t let my white couch get stained with chocolate (or if I did I’d clean it straight away).
I wouldn’t leave my curtains shut all day to lock out the light.
