The Best Way To Reduce All Stress In Your Life

The source of all stress is the same.

Our society is no stranger to stress.

When I lived in cities I noticed it more than ever.

People were constantly tense. Wanting to get through the latest campaign, the next meeting, to eventually reach the next step — whatever that was.

It was an endless cycle. And I was no different.

Cities can be stressful. But even when you move away from them, stress can follow. Your mind goes with you after all.

Over time I’ve been able to reduce my stress

And I’m only doing one simple thing.

Accept what is

Reducing stress means accepting what is happening in your life.

It might feel as though it is but, stress doesn’t come from what is actually happening.

Stress comes from wanting to control, resist, or change what’s happening in the external world.

We can’t always do that.

There are some things we can’t readily change. There are some things we cannot exert control over. And while we can resist everything we don’t like, doing so is the source of worse feelings.
