The lost rawness of creativity
Recently I started writing poetry.
It wasn’t something I ever imagined doing. But after quitting social media and beginning a daily meditation practice, the words started flowing through me.
Creating that poetry on my computer or phone though, just doesn’t work. Putting pen to physical paper, typing patiently on a vintage Craftmatic — these feel just right.
Why? There’s something to the rawness, the doing with your hands, and the unforgiving nature that feeds creativity and uniqueness.
