Most people will advise you to follow your passion in life.

And that’s all well and good… if you know what your passion is.

For those who don’t, this advice can cause stress, frustration and anxiety.

What if your passion isn’t that obvious to you?

Do you spend life fretting about it, never enjoying what’s in front of you because you haven’t found the ‘big thing’ that you’re going to do?

Life doesn’t have to be this way.

‘Follow your passion’ is questionable life advice

Following your passion doesn’t take into account a number of things:

  • Not knowing what your passion is
  • Being passionate about many different things
  • An inability to live your passion for reasons outside your control
  • Discovering your passion too late in life

There are so many situations in life that make living your passion simply impossible.

As an example: what if your passion is downhill skiing?
